I'm 52, married for 30 years to my wife Carolyn and have 3 kids (one that is married and on her own, one in college at Grand Valley State and one in the local community college.

We live in Michigan in a cool little town (actually a city) by the name of Howell.

I'm an OEM  Product Designer in the automotive field. The bulk of what I do is exterior plastic injection molded parts.  These parts would include nameplates, grilles, license lamp shields, etc.

While I'm not a 100%, dyed-in-the-wool, eat, sleep, or drink car guy, I do enjoy the hobby.  Maybe that's why it's taking so long to finish this project... and that's okay!

I enjoy BBQ (and beer too!).  A couple of my favorite sites for BBQ are the Texas BBQ Rub (check out the forum and pick up some of their rub!) and even though I don't own a Weber Smoky Mountain Cooker, I do frequent the forum at The Virtual Weber Bullet.

I've taken on a fascination with vintage brazier grills.  The copper colored one belonged to my wife's father back in the late sixty's.  The Sassy Grass Green one was one I just had to have... NOS from 1977!

I dabble in model railroading too.  N gauge to be exact.  This poor layout didn't fair too well with the move from Missouri to Michigan in 2004.  To be honest, I haven't even got it running since the move.
