The front frame rails, inner fender aprons, firewall and the radiator support were media blasted.  If you recall, I had pop riveted new aprons into place in the early 80's.  I used about 50 or so rivets on each side.  The aprons will be welded back in, filling the rivet holes, ground down, seam sealed and painted.  That's why the aprons are on the floor in this image.

Here's a couple of shots of the front end after welding the inner fender aprons in and painting. I'm going with the original "Formal Black" color.  Not a very good photo, but you get the idea. Body filler dust was everywhere as the quarter panels are being worked on.

I don't remember if I mentioned it before, but the side markers and the rear body lines were messed up when the quarter panels were stretched 3.0".  The side markers had to be moved forward 1.5".  If you look close, the black primer image above shows the "before" location.  The masking tape image, also above, shows the template for the new holes.

Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods in St. Louis, MO. did the media blasting, bodywork and painting.  They have relocated to House Springs, Missouri and renamed the company to "Doug Jenkins Garage" since doing the work on my Duster.

The fiberglass bumpers came from AAR Quality Fiberglass.
