Here's a little tip for you.  There are five attachments that hold the dash frame in place under the windshield gasket.  Yep, you have to remove the windshield to remove the dash frame.

144k miles on the Duster and the glass is near perfect.  I don't expect to have to replace any of it.

 
 

I cleaned the gasket area around the window opening with a wire wheel attachment on my air grinder.  The channel looks great!
