I test fit the K-frame to the motor while it was on the engine stand.  I did this because of a clearance issue that was brought to my attention with the Milodon pan I want to use. Thanks Bart!  Yep, it interferes on the RH (passenger) side.  It looks like I'll have to notch my powdercoated K-frame to use the 7 Qt. Milodon pan.

This is a side view (passenger) showing the mock-up.

This is the area that interferes on the RH (passenger) side.  This image was taken before I cut a notch into the K-Frame.

The LH (driver) side, looking from the rear, had the clearance, but just barely.

This is the notch that I decided upon.

Here is a closer view of the notch.

Even with the clearance notch, the motor won't drop in, at least with the transmission attached.

This is another image showing my problem with installation.  The ultimate solution was to loosen up the K-Frame bolts to allow the K-Frame to drop down enough to ease the motor and transmission in.
