With a little time and the help of a couple of friends, a set of pneumatic swivel casters
was born.  I'd say we did it on the cheap too, as the only cost was the casters themselves.

With the help of good friends Brian and Dave , we have built a pair of pneumatic tire, swivel caster legs that bolt up to the front bumper bolt holes.  These casters make it very easy to move the car.

I drew up the plans, Dave cut and drilled the holes in the plate material and Brian welded everything together.  The steel materials came from Brian and Dave.

Here you can see how the whole swivel caster attaches to the frame rail through the bumper bolt holes.  All of the hardware was stuff I had, so I didn't have to purchase it.

You'll notice that I have drilled and bolted the round steel sections together to maintain the height I was looking for.  If you look close, you can see where I had drilled extra holes so I could adjust the height.

Notice that the smaller diameter piece of steel is quite long.  This was intentional so I could adjust the height as needed.  All you have to do is drill a couple of more  holes and bolt them together.  The red cooler cups are optional of course, but did make it safer around kids.

The 10" casters came from Harbor Freight.  I did have to air the tires up from time to time though.  Interestingly, I sold these casters to a guy in Hawaii.
