Took
the motor off of the stand...

I had to shorten the CSI Scattershield
bolts to bolt the transmission in correctly.

A buddy of mine (Travis) helped out
today. We got everything lined up and bolted together.

My thoughts were to drop the motor and
trans in as a single unit. In hindsight though, it would have saved me time and frustration if I would have installed
them separately. The Milodon pan gave me trouble. More on that later.

Okay, everything at this point was going
as we had suspected.

This is the point were I ran into
issues with my Milodon 7-Qt. pan. I had mounted the K-Frame to the motor while it was still on the stand and found out
that I needed to nothch the K-Frame out for clearance, which I did. With the motor and trans bolted together as a single
unit, I couldn't get the clearance needed for it to drop in, even with the notched K-Frame, which was installed.
I eventually dropped the K-Frame about 2 inches and lowered the motor and trans into place.

Here she is. The blower is just sitting
on top, but I couldn't resist the temptation to sneak a peek.
